A pet friendly (outdoor or in the garage area only) “leave the car in the garage” beach holiday house. Our older style house, completely renovated in August 2010, is close to lovely beaches and situated for you to explore all that the Sunshine Coast and surrounding area has to offer. Your dog, if you bring one, has a large fenced yard to enjoy, the kids have a cubby to play in, you can walk to the shops for your morning coffee and croissant, the newspaper, or the bacon to go with your eggs! Of course, there’s always the break for your morning surf! You and your family can enjoy the restaurants at Dicky Beach, or walk around the corner to the Dicky Beach Surf Club and sit on the deck enjoying the view.
Dicky Beach is named after the SS Dicky which was wrecked on the beach here in 1893. The picture shows our three bedroom house, just a few minutes walk to beautiful Dicky Beach, a variety of businesses to cater for your holiday needs, the skate park, Surf Club, BBQ’s and park and the bus stop which can take you to other fantastic spots on the Sunshine Coast, or link you with the wider transport network.

The “Contact Us” page gives you a mobile phone number for immediate contact, a link to a webform you can complete to make a general enquiry, or a link to a form to make a booking request. As we may take bookings from a number of sources, we cannot advise definite availability until we have your booking request checked against bookings/confirmations.
There is so much information on where to go, and what to do, that we do not attempt to provide it all here for you as it is publicly available, but we will do our best to provide any specific information you may need, via your queries by phone or on either of our forms.
Details of our Holiday House at 26 Beerburrum Street, Dicky Beach
The house is a recently renovated 3 bedroom split level home. The garage, a second toilet and laundry are located on the ground level. This area, along with the rear garden, is for the access of your pet if you bring one. This area has internal access via a few stairs to the main level of the house. Externally, there is a short staircase to a patio, accessing the main level of the home. All floors are polished timber, there is a combined L-shaped lounge and dining and a well-equipped new kitchen (sorry, no dishwasher).
Up a flight of approximately 10 stairs there are three large bedrooms, all with large new built-in robes and shelving. Polished timber floors throughout. The bathroom is new and contains a large tiled shower and modern vanity – the toilet is beside the bathroom. If you are looking for the luxury of a spa bath, sorry, we don’t have one, or indeed a bath or any kind, but the bathroom is lovely just the same!
The largest two bedrooms contain queen size beds and the roomy third bedroom contains two single beds meaning the house is set up to accommodate 6 people maximum. We do not provide baby gates for the stairs, high chairs or cots or cot linen, but if you are travelling and need to organise these in advance of your arrival, we may be able to assist you in the hire of these items. We do provide all sheets, pillows, doonas, all towels, tea towels, place mats etc, (we do not provide beach towels). We do not charge extra to provide you with linen.
The house is screened and the lounge and all bedrooms have ceiling fans, but the home is not airconditioned. The house has lots of windows and faces north.
The rear yard is fully fenced with a high timber fence and has a double gate on one side. Vehicle access is possible through this gate (see Terms and Conditions). The back yard contains a large cubby house for the delight of your children (under your supervision of course) or the shelter of your poochy child! Whilst there is no covered outdoor area, a BBQ, outdoor setting and large shade umbrella will be provided for your use. We don’t have a swimming pool, for the simple reason that there is a big salt water one just down the street!
Much to our regret, and despite the fact that the stairs have good handrails, the house would not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs as there are quite a few up to the bedroom level.

This is a new venture and therefore we are still making improvements, especially to the garden/landscaping. We hope to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our guests to enjoy. As such, even this site will remain a “work in progress” and will be updated frequently with new photos and amendments to information as it becomes necessary to do so.
